School Ambassadors
The School Ambassadors Program is part of Granite Gorge’s Winter Youth Shred Program (WYSP) and the Winter Youth Shred Club (WYSC). It helps us connect local schools and communities with affordable access to skiing and snowboarding while building leadership and community involvement.
School Ambassadors help represent their school on the mountain and spread the word in their community.
What Is a School Ambassador?
A School Ambassador is a parent, teacher, or school community leader who helps organize and promote a designated ski or ride night for their school or group. They act as a friendly point of contact between Granite Gorge and their community.
Who Can Become an Ambassador?
Parents or guardians of school-aged children
Teachers or school staff
Homeschool parents organizing peer families
Leaders of school groups or youth organizations
What Do Ambassadors Do?
Choose a weekly day and time to host their school’s session.
Promote the program using flyers and social media.
Help spread the word at schools and in parent communities.
Aim to register participants for your school’s designated night.
Assist with check-in and ticket distribution on their school’s night.
Help connect students with coaches and staff.
Be present on your school’s scheduled session night(s).
