The Winter Youth Shred Club (WYSC) is a relaxed, social program for confident skiers and snowboarders who want to ride consistently with peers—without formal lessons. This club is all about time on snow, fun, and community.

Confident skiers and riders between ages
5–18
Youth continuing progression beyond beginner skills and comfortable riding without instruction
Kids and teens looking for a community to ride and have fun with!

Choose one weekday (Monday–Friday) as your club day
That same day/time applies for all 5 weeks weekday (Monday–Friday) as your club day
Each Week
Check in with a Youth Ambassador
Then enjoy free skiing or riding for the rest of the evening

The School Ambassadors Program is part of Granite Gorge’s Winter Youth Programs. It helps us connect local schools and communities with affordable access to skiing and snowboarding while building leadership and community involvement.

FAQ
What equipment is required?
Helmets are strongly recommended for all participants. Rentals are available onsite. All skis and snowboards must be mountain-appropriate with metal edges and proper bindings. Please note: gear purchased from big box stores that does not meet mountain standards is not permitted.
Can my rider switch days?
Please select one day/time for the 5-week block. Limited day changes may be possible if space allows; please check at info@granitegorge.com.
What if there is bad weather?
We are a winter mountain, so conditions vary! If Granite Gorge must close, a make-up session will be communicated via email/SMS.
Do parents/guardians need to stay?
We recommend parents/guardians remain on the property. Ambassadors and staff are available for check-in and coordination.
