Looking for incredible views without breaking a sweat? Our Scenic Lift Rides are the perfect way to experience the beauty of the Monadnock Region — no hiking boots, athletic ability, or mountain experience required.
Just minutes from downtown Keene, our scenic chairlift ride takes you smoothly to the top of the mountain, where wide-open views, fresh air, and a peaceful summit experience await.
The Ride Experience
Your scenic journey begins with a calm, comfortable ride on our Pinnacle Double Chair.
Lift ride time
Approximately 10 minutes (or less).
When you reach the top
Stay as long as you’d like during operating hours.
Exploring
Walk around the summit, relax, and take in the views.
We’ve also built a custom offloading ramp at the summit, making it easier and more comfortable to load and unload.
What You’ll Find at the Summit
The top of Granite Gorge is designed for taking it all in at your own pace.
For those looking to linger a little longer, the summit also offers Peak Picnics throughout the summer.

Make It a Day

Scenic Lift Rides pair perfectly with a casual meal, a summer event, or a spontaneous weekend outing.
Know Before You Go
Footwear and clothing: Closed-toe shoes required (no sandals or flip-flops). Avoid loose or flowing clothing.
All riders must be able to approach the loading area and sit on the chairlift unassisted and under their own power.
Safety bars: Guests should be comfortable following lift instructions.
The lift accommodates 2 people per chair.
Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited on the chairlift, at the summit, and on any hiking trails.
Dogs and other animals are not permitted on the chairlift.
Children: Smaller children are encouraged to ride with an adult and be helped with the safety bar.
Stay time: You may remain at the summit as long as you’d like during operating hours.
Lift attendants are present at loading and unloading areas.
No specific height minimums.
If the mountain is open, the lift is running.
Waiver required: a waiver must be signed once per season, per person.
In the event of poor weather, lift operations may be paused or closed for safety reasons.
