Take in the Views with a Scenic Skyride at Granite Gorge Mountain Park
Looking for a unique way to experience the beauty of the Monadnock Region? Our scenic skyrides offer a peaceful chairlift ride to the top of the mountain, where sweeping views of southern Vermont and the surrounding countryside await. It’s the perfect outing for families (ages 3+), couples, or anyone looking to take in the outdoors from a new perspective.
Skyrides are available:
Thursdays & Fridays from 4:00 to 6:30 PM
Saturdays & Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pricing:
Adults – $10 with unlimited rides per day
Children 3–8 – $5 with unlimited rides per day & must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older
Tickets are purchased at our guest services counter.
Please note: hiking down the mountain is not permitted at this time. After your ride, we invite you to relax with food and drinks at The Roxbury Bar & Grill, where you can enjoy mountain views from our deck or unwind by the fire.

Know before you go:
- A waiver must be signed once per season, per person. We encourage all guests to complete the waiver prior to arrival to streamline the check-in process. Click the “Waiver” link to complete yours in advance.
- Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended; shoes are required.
- Children must be at least 3 years old and meet the minimum height requirement of 36 inches.
- Children in carrier packs are not permitted on the chairlift.
- One adult is required per one child ages 3 to 8 years old.
- The lift accommodates 2 people per chair.
- Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
- All riders must be able to approach the loading area and sit on the chairlift unassisted and under their own power.
- For the safety of all guests and staff, Granite Gorge reserves the right to make the final decision regarding rider eligibility.
- Dogs and other animals are not permitted on the chairlift.
- The Scenic Skyride is approximately 20 minutes round trip.
- All riders MUST unload at the top and reload for the ride back down.
- Guests are welcome to walk around and enjoy the views at the summit. Hiking down is not permitted at this time.
- Alcohol is not permitted on the lift.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited on the chairlift, at the summit, and on any hiking trails.
- Littering from the chairlift is not allowed.
- Scenic Lift Rides are not available during winter snow sports operations.
