Will I need to walk up the mountain to tube?
No, you won’t need to walk up the mountain! We have a 300-foot conveyor carpet that makes getting uphill easy and convenient. Guests simply stand on the carpet with their tubes in front of them to travel uphill.
Please Note:
- Guests must maintain a 10-foot distance from one another while on the carpet.
- Riding inside the tube on the carpet is not allowed for safety reasons.
- Ski boots are not permitted on the carpet.
Can I bring my own tube?
No, we require all guests to use the tubes provided by Granite Gorge Mountain Park. This ensures safety and consistency for everyone enjoying the hill.
Please Note: Sleds are also not permitted on premises.
Do I need a pass for tubing if my child is tubing but I am not?
If your child is under the age of 10, a ticket-holding adult (16 years of age or older) must accompany them on the tubing hill at all times.

Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, all tubing participants are required to complete a waiver before tubing. Waivers are only required once per season.

Do I need to reserve a time in advance?
No, reservations are not required, but we highly recommend purchasing your ticket online in advance, as we cannot guarantee availability for walk-ins. The number of tickets sold in each session is dependent upon the number of lanes open and weather conditions

What should I wear?
We recommend snowpants, boots, gloves, winter jacket, hat or helmet and layers under coats.

Is this good for little kids (toddlers & babies)?
Tubing is a thrilling experience, with tubes that travel at high speeds. It is best suited for children who meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 36 inches tall.
- Must have the ability to ride independently in their own tube while holding onto the handles.
While every child is different, we generally recommend tubing for children ages 5 and up to ensure safety and enjoyment.
Can I have alcohol on the hill?
No, alcohol is not allowed on the tubing hill or ski hill.
Important Guidelines:
- For the safety of all guests, alcohol is limited to the lodge and the roped-off area by the firepit.
- Outside alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property.
- Guests who bring alcohol outside of permitted areas or onto the hill may be asked to leave, and their ticket/pass may be revoked.

Do you have to have experience? Will there be instructons?
No experience is needed to enjoy tubing!
Here’s what to expect:
- Ticket Pickup: Start by picking up your ticket at our guest services counter.
- Tube Pickup: Head to the tubing hill and pick up your tube at the bottom of the carpet.
- Guidance: Our friendly team members are happy to guide you through your first run and answer any questions.
- Tubing Instructions: Once at the top of the hill, sit in your tube and grab the handles. A team member will push you down the hill when it’s your turn.
